早就听爸爸妈妈说厦门大学是全国最美的大学，这次去厦门旅游，我终于可以一睹它的庐山真面目。
2月4日上午我们游好鼓浪屿，就来到了厦门大学，一走进厦大校园，仿佛走进了一个大公园，茂盛的树木、葱郁的热带植物、鲜艳的花草、开阔的草坪、碧波荡漾的湖泊、湖中嬉戏的天鹅和鸳鸯，风格各异的建筑……真是太美了！“厦门大学果然名不虚传。”我想。
厦大的校园很大，面对着大海，背靠着山，一座座红色屋顶的建筑掩映在绿荫之中。有两个建筑最引人注目，一个是高高耸立的颂恩楼，西方的建筑风格，中式、红色的屋顶，这是一对泰国校友夫妻捐建的，取名“颂恩”是颂扬母校栽培之恩。另一个就是建南大礼堂，它的正面朝向大海，看上去非常气派。它是厦门大学重要的会议、文娱活动中心。这两个建筑都是厦门大学的标志性建筑。
站在颂恩楼下，前面就是美丽的芙蓉湖，湖边的石雕上刻着“自强不息”四个大字，我连忙叫爸爸给我拍照。
接着，我们又游览了情人谷，学生宿舍楼，陈嘉庚纪念堂，图书馆，白城沙滩……最后我们在他们的勤业餐厅用完晚餐离开了。
厦门大学真美，我希望自己可以好好学习，长大后也能在这里读大学！

last summer holiday, i visited to xiamen with my parentsby plane. my english teacher once told us that xiamen is a beautiful city that worth of visiting. we stayed there for four days. we lived in a small fishing village. on the first day, we visited to xiamen university and nanputuo temple. xiamen university is consideredas the most beautiful and romantic campus in china. indeed, its fantastic and its buildings are distinctive. on the second days, we enjoyed the scenery of jimei district. on the third day, we visited to gulangyu. its amazing and i like it very much. there 初中英语 are many small specific stores. however, the huge tourist visitors make the small island crowed. anyway, it was a pleasant trip.

记得那年的寒假，爸爸带着我去福建厦门游玩。
在前往厦门的飞机上，我第一次看到我们家乡的城市是多么的小啊!
过了两个小时，我们来到了厦门机场的大门口，导游带我们去宾馆。在这里，我们度过了难忘而又舒服的一夜……
第二天，我们来到了厦门大学后面的海边，爸爸告诉我坐在沙滩上很舒服，我坐着试了试，真的好舒服。我用沙滩上的沙子堆了些物体的样子，有小白兔、鸡蛋、苹果……
吃完午饭，我们又来到大嶝岛。大嶝岛上可真是热闹，到处都是小卖部和各种台湾的小商品。团队租了两辆观光车，到处观光，一会儿买买东西，一会儿吃点小吃，真是高兴极了。
第三天，我们来了武夷山，那儿可好玩了，大人们在游山玩水，我们小朋友们在一边做游戏，一会儿踩气球、一会儿“跳白菜”，真是有趣。
第四天，我们团队还玩了爬山比赛，我跟爸爸只得了第四名，有些落后。后来，我们又进行了复赛，大家又开始了激烈的比赛，结果我跟爸爸又得了第四名，我们只好接受现实。
夜幕降临后，我们回到了宾馆。
厦门真的是好美丽啊，而且有着许许多多有趣的事物，我希望有机会还能来厦门游玩。

xiamen university, located in xiamen, fujian province, is the first university in china founded by overseas chinese. before 1949, it was originally known as the university of amoy. the university is one of many comprehensive universities directly administered by the chinese ministry of education. in 1995 it was included in the list of the "211" project for the state key construction; in 20xx it became one of china’s higher-level universities designated for the state key construction of the 985 project.
in 1919, mr. tan kah kee, the well-known overseas chinese leader, donated millions of dollars to establish and endow xiamen university, officially founded in 1921. it is regarded as one of the most prestigious and selective universities in china.
mr. tan handed over xiamen university to the government in 1937 due to lack of funds, and the institution subsequently became a national university.
in 1938, at the outbreak of the second sino-japanese war, the university temporary relocated to changting in min xi county, western fujian.
at the end of world war ii in 1946, xiamen university moved back to xiamen and resumed normal operations.
in 1952, xiamen university became a comprehensive university, and has been designated as a national key university since 1962. then, in 1952 it became a comprehensive university embracing both arts and science. in 1963, it was designated as a state key university. in 1995, it was included in the list of the "211 project" for the state key construction; in 20xx, it became one of china’s higher-level universities designated for the state key construction of the "985"project.
