today, i read 101 classic good stories. the most touching story in the book is the orange tiger.

how good the orange tiger is!i think, although the orange tiger is gone, but the small sheep must not forget once have a tiger to give it a half sweet orange;the farmer saw the oranges in the garden, and they must not forget that it was a gift from the orange tiger.the story tells me that only a good heart will bring happiness to others.

this story’s name is “the little prince”。 as it known to all, we will encounter a lot of difficulties, even hardships. different people may have different ways to deal with them. after reading the little princess, i am deeply impressed by sara’s way to deal with difficulties. the little princess was written by frances hodgson burnett, a famous novelist and dramatist. sara, the heroine of the novel, was born in a rich family. in order to get a better education, her father took her from india to london so that she could go to the best school. because sara was kind-hearted, generous and most of all—rich, she was loved by everyone. all went well until her father died in an accident. everything changed pletely. she didn’t understand why the teachers and classmates treated her so badly. even the principal who used to be fond of her, made her work 16 hours a day. sara’s miserable life began.when i finished reading the book, i was shocked by what the unimaginable pain sara had suffered after her fa爱国名??
ther’s death. she used to be a happy, worriless, and rich princess, but now she was a lonely and poor servant. she had to work very hard without any rest but only had little food. besides she had to endure the unfriendly and even rude ways that her classmates treated her. all teachers and students in the school looked down upon her. the most important fact is that sara had lost the love and care of her parents.what a mighty pain! if you were sara, could you stand such pain? needless to say, an 11 years old girl, even if it were an adult, he might not put up with it. but to my surprise, sara faced it bravely.
despite of the torture of the principal and all those pressures above, she still was optimistic towards life. by reading this novel, i felt inspired and think much. when we meet such difficulties, what should we do? some people always plain that the fate is unfair to them. some people can’t sustain the hardships and choose to give up. few of them even try to mit suicide because they lack the courage to overe it. compared with sara—an eleven years old girl who can treat the pressure of life with optimistic spirit, these people’s performances are sounded so lamentable. why can’t they make it?however, what impress me most are her characteristics and the thought of her “being a real princess.” this “real princess” does not mean luxury palaces, beautiful clothes and the apple of the others’ eyes, but being kind, generous and having good manners. it is unnecessary for “a real princess” to be strong in body, but she must be strong in will. sara is a real princess in my heart all the time, whethe
r she was rich and wore beautiful clothes in the classroom or she was cold and hungry in the attic, just because she had the good characters and kind heart. the story went on. fortunately, a friend of sara’s father found her and told her that her father left a great sum of money to her. i pray and believe that every good person in the world deserve a good result, and of course, we are the same.
carrie was such an ordinary rural girl at the beginning of the story. sitting on the seat of a bus, she couldn’t help feeling exciting at the sight of the metropolis’ spectacle. she was impressed deeply by large crowd on the avenue, the spacious square or tall buildings.
far more different from other heroines, carrie was not a plain pure angel like snow-white, nor was she brave enough to be a heroine of revolutionist or even a reformer, nor was she so clever as to be a successful career woman who start from scratch.
what attracted her most, after her entering this huge metropolis was the incredible fineries, fashion shoes, smart handbags displaying in the shop windows, the jewellerys shining brightly behind the glass. she dreamed that one day, she could wear all of these, jogging gracefully into the most luxurious hotel with focused sights of admiration.
and this was not merely a dream. because she had large eyes which can earn others’ sympathy, even love. she had wonderful figure which can win others’ hearts. however, anything she got, anywhere she reached, had not come from her ambition. things happened, and then she accepted. that’s what she had just done — just to accept willingly from the bottom of her heart. she was not at all an evil woman who would give anything for the fortune or fame. however, she would give uo something for a better life when her instinct defeated her intellect.
that was carrie, a girl had her own desire, a human being just like many others in the realistic world.
there’s one sentence written in chapter viii:” when this jangle of free-will instinct shall have been adjusted, when perfect understanding has given the former the power to replace the latter entirely, man will no longer vary.” however, how many people can go that further.
and i want to quote another sentence to wind up my essay:
“in carrie — as in how many of our wordings do they not? — instinct and reason, desire and understanding, were at war for the mastery.”

the protagonist of don quixote's novel, originally named alonso jihada, wasa local man. he was fascinated by the popular chivalry novels at that time andwanted to imitate the chivalry. he found a pair of tattered and incomplete armorfrom the antiquities of his family. he named it don quixote de mancha himself.he also found a servant sangqiu and a milkmaid from the neighboring village, named dulcinea, as his favorite person to serve him all his life. then he rodeon a thin horse and ran away from home. don quixote also acted according to thestrange ideas in his mind, regarding windmills as giants, sheep as enemies, convicts as knights, wine bags as giants' heads, indiscriminately cutting andkilling, causing many ridiculous things. his actions were not only useless forpeople, but also suffered from beating and suffering. when he got home for thelast time, he was bedridden and finally understood. he made a will, and if theniece, the only heir, married the knight, her right of inheritance would becancelled.
at first glance, don quixote, i think, is just a funny vulgar work. thenervous "brave spirit" of the protagonist is vividly displayed in the book, which makes people look down upon him even more. but savor carefully, and feelthat there is a truth in the book. the most basic essence of people is toachieve their goals recklessly. in the process of realization, the chivalrousknight, who is as thin as a high pole, and the gentleman with fantastic ideas, always shows his integrity and kindness. this is the most noble spirit of humanbeings. because it is too simple, many jokes are made.
when cervantes wrote don quixote, he aimed at attacking, satirizing andfabricating the strange chivalrous novel and its bad influence on people. it wasintended to be written as a few short stories. later, it was written that hewrote in his life experience and ideal. his thought content became more and morerich, and his characters became more and more realistic, until he described thedisaster brought by spanish society to the people, and became an encyclopediafor us to understand and study the social politics, economy, culture and customsof spain at that time.
this is don quixote. although don quixote is funny, what about other peoplein reality? so, when we see don quixote, we should all reflect on ourselves.that's what i think after watching don quixote.
orphans are children who have no parents, so they live in orphanages. today, lets take a look at a book about orphans - oliver twist. the protagonist of this book is a poor orphan. his name is oliver. his mother died as soon as he was born, so he was taken to the orphanage. but that orphanage is not a good place, because the director there is very bad to the orphans, the orphans hate him. the supervisor also apprenticed olivier to the coffin shop. in the coffin shop, olifi was abused, so he fled to london. as a result, he was brought into the den by the thief "smart ghost" and was forced to embark on the ship. fortunately, with the help of mr. brownlow and miss ruth, olife successfully escaped from fagin and others, and let the police turn over the den. menx also tells about the life experience of olifi: menx and olifi are actually half brothers. however, olifis father had passed away, and his property was divided between his two sons. since then, olivier has lived with mr. brownlow······
the author dickens wrote "oliver twist" wonderfully, and the plot is also very dangerous, so it attracts the readers at once, and makes the readers mood change with the plot of the story.
there is always a dark side to life. however, the light will always prevail over the dark, there will be countless "mr. brownlow" and "miss ruth" to help those in trouble. i also want to learn from them: try my best to help others, and always have a good heart.
