maybe most people like the big cities, because of the good living conditions. but i prefer to live in the countryside, for it's much quieter and more peaceful. in the morning, i can lie in the bed, listening to the birds singing. it seems like a free concert, whichcan bring me a happy mood. moreover, i can meet different kinds of people outside. when i greet to them and smile to them, they also do the same to me.it's just a simple life, but the feeling is so great.

每年暑假，我都会到农村的外婆家住一段时间。
早晨，公鸡叫醒了沉睡在梦乡的我，我立刻爬起床，迅速穿好衣服，和表姐表妹一起到田间晨跑。田间的早晨真美啊!整个田间都是雾蒙蒙的，像是笼上了一层白纱。天边的小鸟飞过，与我们共享这美丽的田间美景。我们穿梭在田埂上，田埂很窄，我们三个人小心翼翼地走着，看见一根小树枝就说那是敌人设下的毒树枝陷阱，我们便从它上面跳过去，又接着走了。田间似乎是一个迷宫，我们穿来穿去，才回到了家。
中午，阳光把乡村打扮得金灿灿的，我们吃完午饭，便坐在树荫下乘凉。在树荫下，我们打扑克牌，玩过家家，吓跑周围的鸡群，可好玩了。那些鸡群被我们吓得跑来跑去，神情慌张，喔喔的大叫着，我们却被它们那焦虑的样子笑得前俯后仰。
傍晚，天空中飞过几只白鹭，它们那洁白的羽毛真像一团小雪花。我和外婆一起骑着自行车，去田野里买菜，我们骑在田野里的小路上，远处的景色真美啊!夕阳下，一排排柳树整齐地站在池塘边，又长又软的柳条随风飞舞。果园里种满了香蕉、荔枝等水果，它们硕果累累，使人垂涎欲滴。外婆买完菜，我们便回家了。晚饭吃着我们刚从田野里摘来的菜，我们心里甜甜的。
晚上，我们就拿着几把小椅子，坐在门前的夜空下数星星。微风吹过，我们的燥热一下子减轻了许多。天上的星星一眨一眨的，真像一片小眼睛。
晚上9点多了，我们便回到家里睡觉，纺织娘唱着它歌儿，那歌儿赛过催眠曲，使我甜甜蜜蜜地进入梦乡。

曲曲折折的小路两旁是大块大块的田园。稀稀疏疏的小草布在田埂上，与田园里的小草衔成一片。初升地平线的阳光洒在草儿上，透过草儿细碎的光大方的向草茎射去，渲染的草儿的影子一层叠恋着一层。习习凉风再次拂过，绿浪掀起又跌伏，流光溢彩。好想流连，在广阔的原野上尽情挥洒快乐。
若站在山顶俯首下望，便觉田园分为三层：里层是田地，中间是田野，外层是潺潺流水。层层紧连，环环相扣。
田野四周是高大遒劲的树，茂盛娇艳的花儿，大小鸟语的云雀。花儿簇拥在树下，引得蝴蝶翩翩起舞;一排树环绕在四野，仿佛是筑起的绿色屏障;鸟儿在枝头上引吭高歌，行云流水的声音飘散树影……
草儿、四野的美景叫我目不暇接，那河塘的无限风光是否更叫人纸醉金迷呢?
光透过树桠，斑斑驳驳地撒在河面，岸上野花野草丝毫不羞的将倒影全呈与以河面，蓝天白云也被这一方池塘包纳，鸟儿在空中盘旋飞舞。偶尔有蛙儿跳下，将倒影搅成一片，画面破碎，歌舞升平一般，别有一番风味。
这是什么气味?扑鼻而来的是清爽、溢脾、弥漫大脑的荷香气息。原来池塘的另一边，是“接天莲叶无穷碧，映日荷花别样”的美景。滴滴露珠晶莹在河面上，在风的催促下迫不及待的变换着演奏曲。蛙儿又跳进水里，搅得水波荡漾。我是无暇及此的，只得眼睁睁的看着荷叶儿此起彼伏的乱摆，生怕那幼嫩的茎儿也被扯断。
此时的天空干净的没有一丝杂质，透明的恍如玻璃，正好与池塘相映成辉。
翘首挺立的荷花在荷叶间隙露出娇羞的模样，倒有点“犹抱琵琶半遮面”的意味。娇妍的身姿婷婷玉立，宛如仙子垂立于水面。走进一看，真是动人心魄!瓣儿层层地向四面伸展，粉色的边缘笼上轻纱，梦幻而又飘渺。中间躺着的是犹如流苏般的鹅黄色花蕊;打着朵儿的荷花，那包裹着的身躯叫人神往。看!下面是纯白的花瓣，上层聚集成一点红，远远看去，像抹上浓重的装束，赏心悦目。站在高处，一切尽收眼底，荷花俏如孔雀开屏，荷叶立如蜻蜓点水。
赏罢之余，也是该回去的时候了。于是，我带着无尽的田园风光满载而归。

暑假里，我最期待的事是在爷爷家玩耍。每次，我们都会到爷爷的鱼塘里钓鱼。在钓鱼前，我们总会去菜园那潮湿的泥土里，寻获一些免费的鱼饵——蚯蚓。想钓到鱼可不是一件简单的事，钓鱼者需要极大的耐性，这样才不会京东水中在那悠然自得嬉戏的鱼儿。当然这件事对于钓鱼高手我来说，那可是张飞吃豆芽——小菜一碟。
如果有机会的话，我们还会去野外打土窑。有可能你不明白什么是打土窑。其实就是用锡纸将番薯和鸡蛋包起来，放进用土块堆起的土窑里烤。记得第一次，我和表弟一家一起去乡村野外打土窑。我和表弟负责去找土块，两个表哥负责去找枯树枝、枯草，伯伯负责堆土窑和生火。一切准备就绪，就只等番薯和鸡蛋烤熟了。大约过了半个小时，一股香味扑鼻而来了，我们就知道，番薯烤熟了。我们把火灭了，将窑拆开，小心翼翼地将番薯和鸡蛋取出，装起袋子里，拿回去品尝。回到家里，我都迫不及待地想要尝到香甜的烤番薯。我们将纸打开，脱去番薯表面的外衣，就可以看到金黄色的番薯肉。此时，我已是“口水直流三千尺”了，咬一口，入口即化，让人叫好。
还有一件趣事。记得那是一年的秋天，我和爷爷到山上砍柴，我们中途停下来休息。爷爷把周围的枯枝败叶堆一起生了火。我还不懂事，就捡起一片烤焦的树叶，以为它很好吃，就放在嘴里嚼了嚼。那味道又苦又涩，我直往地上吐，爷爷却站在一旁笑。那味道，我这一辈子都不想再尝。
