在“老严”上课时，他绝对要求教室安静无声，以便都能专心听讲，全部接受信息。他所说的“无声”，就是针掉在地上你能听到很响的声音，这就是老严的`第一点魅力。厉害吧！
还有更绝的，“老严”的课堂警示语是“3、2、1”，每当他念出这三个数字时，所有人连反抗的欲望都没有，简单来说，就是对他的所有命令都只能乖乖就范，不折不扣执行，这真的很神奇，很有魔力。

我们的“老严”有一句最经典的自创名言“硬功夫+carefully”，它的意思是实力加细心。可我们做作业时常忽略细节，所以让他很生气，生气过后，他还是会语重心长的告诉我们“细节决定成败”的道理。从开学到现在，这样的理念不仅深入内心，可以说是深入了我们每一个人的骨髓。所以，我们在逐渐改掉以前那些坏习惯。他还戏谑着说道；“上帝给我们两只耳朵，两只眼睛，一张嘴，目的是让我们每个人多听，多看，少说。”老严这样的理念，我认为也是有巨大魅力的。
